Monumental Muller Freres Luneville cameo vase revealing an encompassing scene of a quiet lake bound by a rocky coastline and mature trees in summer foliage, their dense canopies shrouding the shoulder. Measures 16 1/4 inches tall and 9 inches across. A very pleasing color scheme in varying shades of blue and black enlightened by an ivory color sky. Cameo signed Muller Freres Luneville on the side. Polished low depression areas in the sky possibly done at the factory. Looking at the vase, it is unnoticeable. Striking vessel. In otherwise, excellent condition.
